ISBN stands for 'International Standard Book Number'. It's basically a 13 digit identification number that book sellers and libraries use to identify books, magazines, newspapers or other publications. A separate ISBN is assigned for Paperback, Hard bound and eBook versions of your book.
Onlinegatha provides you services of ISBN and copyright protection. ISBN will cost you an amount of INR 1500 and will take a time of appox 1 and a half months. Copyright protection will cost you an amount of INR 4000 and will take a time of 3-4 months.
The best thing about publishing your book with Onlinegatha is that you do not incur any printing cost. This is NOT print-on-demand. Instead, we fill our inventory with a certain number of copies of your book and refill the inventory as and when it is required. For Ebooks it depends on distribution type which you have choosen.If you have choosen Onlinegatha as your distribution type you will get a royality of 85% on your set MRP otherwise your royality will be calculated on 70%.
For Paperback and Hardcopy royality is calculated on the profit from the book. Profit = MRP - Expenses (Production Cost) You will get 70% of the net profits from the book.
Royalty you will get on per book sale of eBook & Print Book. Royalty will dispatched only when you make the withdrawal from your author dashboard . There is no capping on the amount of withdrawal and the time for withdrawal, every Friday you can request a withdrawal from your author dashboard and the company will send the final settlement value to your bank accounts within next 5 to 7 working days . The royalty for the sale of the book from Online Gatha bookstore is updated automatically as soon as order is placed. The royalty from other channel partners take at least 30 days to be updated on the portal. Moreover, the offline sale, like in book fairs, takes at least a 90 days to be upgraded in the system.
